As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a writer. To me… being a writer was better than being president of the United States. Even before I had written my first story or conceived my first character, I knew I wanted to be a part of them. It was there that I knew I belonged. To me, it meant being somebody… in a world where it is so easy to feel like nobody. Writers weren’t like anybody else. They did whatever they wanted. They broke laws of physics and called it “magic.” They taught us that monsters and evil tyrants, deplorable as they may all be, can be defeated. That there is good in this world and that it’s worth fighting for.

So here is my attempt to be somebody. To remind others that there is yet good in this world, fictional though my stories may be.
